With a can of our Italian Cut Green Beans and a can of tuna in your pantry, you can enjoy this summery Italian salad with tuna any time. Serve it with crusty bread on the side to soak up all the goodness. Or toast slices of rustic bread and top each with a generous spoonful of the salad to make green bean and tuna bruschetta toasts you can serve as an appetizer or a shared plate.
You can make the dressing ahead of time and keep it in the fridge—it’s an all-purpose vinaigrette you can use with any greens or vegetables. (Tip: when that jar of Dijon mustard in your fridge is almost empty, make the dressing right in the jar!) For best flavor, look for Italian-style tuna packed in olive oil. When you drain the tuna, save that tasty oil to use in the dressing.
