  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
    1 small yellow onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tablespoon butter
    2 cans (15 ounces each) Green Giant® Whole Green Beans, drained
    ⅓ cup chicken broth
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    ¼ teaspoon black pepper
    ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
    1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 Using a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving rendered bacon fat in the skillet.
2 Add onion to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, until softened and lightly golden. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
3 Add butter to skillet. Once melted, stir in green beans. Add chicken broth, salt, pepper, paprika and brown sugar. Stir well to combine.
4 Bring mixture to a simmer and cook for 3 minutes.
5 Stir in cooked bacon. Serve warm.
