Lists of ingredients:

  • 1 pound spaghetti
    1 pound ground Italian sausage (hot or mild)
    1 shallot, chopped
    2 Tablespoons butter
    ½ cup dry white wine
    2 cans (10 ounces each) whole clams, with juice
    1 can (29 ounces) Green Giant® Family Size Whole Kernel Sweet Corn, drained
    Cracked black pepper to taste
    2 Tablespoons chopped flat leaf parsley, for serving

STEPS

1 Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions. 
2 While pasta cooks, heat Italian sausage over medium in a large skillet. Brown for 5 minutes, using a spatula to break up sausage into smaller pieces as it cooks. Add shallot and cook 3-4 minutes longer. 
3 Add butter to skillet and melt. Reduce heat to low. Deglaze pan with white wine, using a wooden spatula to scrape any browned bits of sausage. 
4 Stir in clams and corn. Cook 2 minutes longer. Drain pasta and add to skillet, tossing with tongs to coat in sauce from pan. Season with black pepper. Serve hot, topped with chopped parsley.

Round out this pasta with sausage and corn meal with a side of Garlic Parmesan Green Beans or Mediterranean Chopped Salad and warm Italian bread.
